  Homemade/homegrown EVERYTHING (almost every ingredient used in any of the products they serve has been homemade or homegrown... down to the Oreo-cookies they use in the cookies-and-cream ice cream). Because a lot of their other products are handmade (baskets, quilts, etc), the prices are pretty steep... but this place is beautiful and worth the trip out! You can watch the artisans work on their various projects while you tour around, it's fun!

  My goodness, this community is AMAZING! Didn't have time to explore it fully, but the restaurant is second to none. I feel a basket weaving class there in my future!! Go...you won't be sorry.

  Homestead market...Not sure why they even have a phone number listed. They don't answer the phone, takes forever for a call back. My wife and I have driven out of the way at least 5 times to check and see if they have bear claws. Every time they say they just ran out, or had them the day prior. This is a giant inconvenience since hey do not answer their phone. We will never return to this place. Not even for the rest of the attractions out here.
